Who is responsible for your data

We answer within 1 working day and, for a formal access request, within 40 days as the Ordinance allows.

What an enquiry gives us
When you write, we receive your name, your email address, any phone or WhatsApp number you use, the message itself, and whatever you attach — a photograph of a wall, a thread, an existing fitting, or a floor plan. If the enquiry becomes a quote we also hold the company name, billing address, delivery address, purchase order number and the destination country, because freight and duty depend on them.
We do not ask for your date of birth, your identity card number, your bank credentials or your card number. There is no checkout on this site, so no card number ever reaches us.

What an order adds, including photographs
Once an order is placed we hold the invoice, the packing list, the courier tracking record and the payment confirmation. If you send installation photographs — of a wall anchor, a stud fixing, a tile-drill line, a cartridge, a thread or a patina — those images are retained with the order. Correspondence about a claim, a replacement cartridge, a stripped thread or a failed finish is retained with the order as well. We keep them together because a warranty decision twelve months later depends on what the fitting looked like and what was discussed when it was installed.
Installation photographs are used only to diagnose a fault, decide a claim, or improve the fitting note we send with the carton. We do not publish them, we do not use them in advertising, and we do not pass them to anyone outside the parties named in section 07 unless you agree in writing.
-
Server logs
Our web server records the usual technical data: IP address, user agent, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs exist to keep the site up, to detect scraping and abuse, and to diagnose errors. They are not used to build a profile of you and they are not joined to your enquiry record. Logs are rotated and deleted within 90 days.
-
Cookies and cart state
This is a display site. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no remarketing pixel and embeds no third-party analytics or social widget. A single session cookie may be set to keep a shortlist or cart state on the server while you browse; it carries a random session identifier and nothing else, and it expires when the session ends or is cleared. Blocking cookies will not stop you reading any page or sending an enquiry.
-
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your data to answer your enquiry, quote stock, prepare and ship an order, handle a return, a warranty claim or a customs query, keep the accounting records Hong Kong law requires, and prevent fraud and misuse of the site. Under the PDPO the basis is your consent when you write to us, and the performance of the contract or the steps leading to it once you accept a quote. We do not sell personal data, we do not rent lists, and we do not send marketing email to anyone who has not asked for it.
-
Who else receives it
A small number of processors see the minimum they need. Our email provider carries the mailbox. The courier receives the name, delivery address, phone number and parcel contents description needed to deliver and clear the goods. Our bank or payment provider receives the invoice and settlement details, never a card number from us. Our accountant receives invoice records for statutory filing. A customs broker, where one is used, receives the commercial invoice and packing list. Each of them is bound to use the data only for that purpose. We disclose data to a regulator, a court or a customs authority when the law compels it, and to our professional advisers if a dispute has to be defended.
-
Cross-border transfer
We are based in Hong Kong and our mailbox and courier systems may store data in other jurisdictions, so a cross-border transfer does happen in the ordinary course of a sale. Where data leaves Hong Kong we keep the same protection in place through contractual terms with the processor, and we transfer only what the purpose needs — a delivery address to a courier, an invoice to a bank. We do not transfer enquiry data across a border for advertising, and we do not sell or broker it in any jurisdiction.
-
How long we keep it
Enquiry that does not become an order Up to 24 months from the last message. Order, invoice and accounting record 7 years, as required for Hong Kong bookkeeping. Installation photographs and claims correspondence Retained with the order for the same 7-year period, because a warranty claim is a record about that order. Server access logs Up to 90 days, for security and abuse prevention. Email threads in the mailbox Deleted or archived when the enquiry or order purpose ends. When a retention period ends we delete the record or, where deletion is impractical, anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.
-
Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, and ask us to stop using your data for a purpose you no longer want. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time; that will not affect anything already done. Write to lishengfa2026@outlook.com and say plainly what you want. We may ask a question or two to confirm identity before releasing data, and we may refuse a request only where the Ordinance allows it, for example where the record contains another person's data.
-
How to complain
Write to us first. Most concerns about a record, a photograph or a mailing are settled in one reply. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) in Hong Kong, which has a published complaint channel and a form for the purpose. You do not need our permission to do so, and we will co-operate with any enquiry the Commissioner makes. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Children, changes and how to reach us
This site sells bathroom hardware to adults and trade buyers. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If a young person has written to us and you want the record removed, tell us and we will delete it.
We may update this notice when the way we work changes — a new courier, a new mailbox provider, a new statutory retention rule. The version date at the foot of this page always reflects the current notice, and a material change will be announced on the contact page rather than slipped in silently. Questions go to Lishengfa Trading Limited, lishengfa2026@outlook.com, or RM 03, 24/F, HO KING COMMERCIAL CENTRE, 2-16 FA YUEN STREET, MONGKOK, HONG KONG.
